Eildon Bed and Breakfast is a beautifully restored Georgian townhouse built in 1802.

Located in the pretty town of Musselburgh just 5 miles from the heart of Edinburgh.

We have free street parking and there is an excellent bus service. Guests can therefore avoid driving in the congested city centre.

Eildon is a traditional Musselburgh townhouse. It is grade 2 listed for historic interest.
Eildon is furnished to a very high standard in a traditional style as becomes its character.

Every effort is made however to provide for your comfort. All rooms have colour television, radio, Central heating and hairdryers as well as tea and coffee making facilities.

The ensuite bedroom has both double and single beds which makes the room more versatile for guests needs. The ensuite itself has a quadrant shower, WB and WC. It is fully tiled and finished in a neo-classical style.

The blue room is a pretty twin bedded room with a sofa and writing desk.

The garden room is a double bedroom overlooking the herbaceous borders and lawn. This room also has a sofa. The blue room and the garden room share the luxurious bathroom.

Musselburgh is an historic town 5 miles east of Edinburgh. It has five good restaurants all within walking distance. Two minutes from your accommodation is a luxurious modern swimming pool and sports centre, a pretty park and beautiful riverside walks. Musselburgh also has a famous nine-hole golf course and racetrack.

There is a frequent and reliable bus service to Edinburgh city centre, which takes about 20-25 mins. Free parking. Secure bicycle storage facilities are available.

We keep whippet dogs and are therefore are unable to accommodate guests own pets.

Eildon is well situated for drives to the superb beaches and countryside of East Lothian: North Berwick, Gullane, Muirfield and Haddington.

Conveniently located for Edinburgh City bypass for roads North, South and the Airports of both Edinburgh and Glasgow. Easy access to the A1 and City Bypass for visiting Glasgow, Stirling, Fife and the Borders.
