Orroland is a traditional Scottish lowland farm overlooking the Solway Firth in the heart of rural Dumfries and Galloway, south west Scotland.

Orroland is set apart from the hustle and bustle of busy roads and street lights; however the nearby towns of Kirkcudbright, Castle Douglas and Dalbeattie are just 15 to 20 minutes away by car.

We have three self-catering properties: two cottages that house six to seven people and one large, traditional, country house that comfortably accommodates up to fourteen people.

Coming to Orroland is a unique experience – good for the soul. Few places can match it for privacy, atmosphere and dramatic location.

The area all around Orroland is rich in activities and historical interest, all awaiting exploration.
