Hafton Castle is a superb house with its wonderful indoor pool,grand reception hall, small drawing room with views across to the sea, the large drawing room with bar area (the two rooms open into one large room which is ideal for Weddings), dining room, library, billiard room, toy room, big conservatory and lots of outdoor space, plenty of space for the large number of people it sleeps.

The 19 bedrooms are very comfortable and all have en-suite showers.

The building has some magnificent features, beautiful ceilings, carved doors and a superb staircase.

Outside the gardens have old trees, lawns and the views across the Loch are beautiful. The castle can be reached from Glasgow Airport in approximately 45 minutes by car and guests usually arrive via the ferry which departs from Gourock and crosses the Firth of Clyde to Hunter's Quay, a very romantic and atmospheric start to their stay at Hafton.

There are many local activities, golf, swimming, clay pigeon shooting, sailing,fishing, quad biking to name but a few. Dunoon itself is the home of the Cowal Highland Gathering.
