This delightful, recently redecorated cottage is located in the charming fishing village of Portmahomack, less than an hours drive north of Inverness.

The cottage offers accommodation on 2 levels. The groundfloor comprises of a warm and spacious livingroom with views over the harbour and Dornoch Firth. The lving room has TV with freeview, stereo and DVD player. There is a large separate dining room with sliding glass doors to the patio, a suntrap and ideal for meals and barbeques. The spacious eat-in kitchen has dishwasher, double oven microwave and fridge/freezer and is extremely well equipped. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Also on the ground floor is a large bedroom with king sized bed as well as a large family bathroom with four piece suite.
Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each, one of these also has a TV, VCR and CD player as well as a shower room.

At the back of the cottage is the garden and patio. There is ample parking both at the front and rear.
Portmahomack, a fishing village dating back to the Vikings boasts the lowest rainfall figures in Scotland.There is a lovely sandy crescent shape beach wher frequently dolphins can bee seen swimming offshore. The village has 2 pubs, a small village shop/post office and a renown seafood restaurant. The nine hole golfcourse overlooks both the Dornoch and Cromarty Firth. There is ample opportunity for walks, including to the lighthouse, the tallest functioning one on th East Coast.
